This year the Basque manufacturer of machinery celebrates 60 years of worldwide experience, accompanying and supporting companies from all continents.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a long journey that the company\u00a0<strong>has managed to carry out based on innovation and constant improvement, quality and trust.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Established in 1961<\/strong>\u00a0in the heart of the\u00a0<strong>Basque Country<\/strong>\u00a0by a<strong>\u00a07-person family<\/strong>, Talleres SASPI is today among the market leaders in the fastener production field. Indeed, the name reflects the origins of the still-family-owned company:\u00a0<strong>&#8220;zazpi&#8221; means seven, in Euskara.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Although the company was born with the aim of expanding all over the world, it wasn\u2019t until\u00a0<strong>1986<\/strong>\u00a0that\u00a0<strong>the company really focused on exporting its technology.<\/strong>\u00a0Now,\u00a0<strong>exports account<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>98% of Talleres SASPI\u2019s production.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"heading-style-3 visible-first\">What was the key factor?<\/h3>\n<p>The commitment to continuous innovation. In an ever-evolving market, technology requirements change daily, and companies need to keep pace with the customers\u2019 necessities. Talleres SASPI has always been ahead of its game: back\u00a0<strong>in 1998, SASPI machines were among the first to implement a touchscreen control panel<\/strong>, for example. Only 4 years later, the company began installing linear drive and direct drive components in its lines,\u00a0<strong>way before the majority of the industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ability to quickly adapt to new needs has proven to be fundamental these days.\u00a0<strong>The global pandemic<\/strong>\u00a0running rampant over the world\u00a0<strong>has driven customers to require remote access capabilities<\/strong>\u00a0for their machines, and\u00a0<strong>the Basque company was ready.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Remote production management and parts monitoring has been possible for years on SASPI\u2019s machines. But that is not all, because\u00a0<strong>the efforts and investments in R&amp;D will mean preventive error detection<\/strong>\u00a0in the near future to avoid downtimes altogether, in a quest to maximize productivity even further.<\/p>\n<p>The management and\u00a0<strong>the team of professionals that are part of Talleres SASPI wish to thank the group of clients, partners and collaborators<\/strong>\u00a0for the trust they have placed in the company over these 60 years.
